UPDATE (May 30th 2012)- As some of you may have noticed, I've spent the past 2 weeks or so updating older works. This is the last of the lot.

The figure of the woman looks awkwardly squished. I think in an attempt to make her look like she was in perspective you may have missed a few things. Her arms in the front should probably have some more foreshortening on them (instead of being the same size as the retreating ones).

Some of the elements seem a little disjointed as well; I'm not really feeling the chain at the top left of the image. It seems to just be floating there randomly. I think incorporating some more of the links of chain would make the image appear a little more cohesive. As it stands, you just kind of have the random links at the top and the lock at the bottom right; they're not really connected in the image and come off as things just slapped on top.

It might be a little bit cluttered too, but the clouds add a nice softness that helps to better combine the separate elements. The black of the woman's underwear are a smidgeon dark and distracting though.

That photomanip is over three years old, back when I just started making them. I am self-taught so mistakes are inevitable. Nevertheless, it has always been one of my favourites and my making any changes to please one viewer is unlikely; especially since you aren't a photomanipulator yourself (judging by your gallery).

Her arms look the way they do because of how they were bent i.e her pose. In the stock picture, she was jumping just as she is in the photomanip so perhaps your expectations as to how it SHOULD look isn't quite right. In other words, the stock picture was already in perspective when I got it.

The chain, the ribbon and the padlock symbolise a release from ties i.e. freedom. That you aren't "feeling" it does not subtract from its symbolic meaning. It was put there to mean, not please.

Also, while to you, it may seem cluttered (and I do respect your opinion), over the past three years most people have understood the point/concept of the photomanip and have said otherwise. And, if you notice the category it's submitted to is "surreal". It's not supposed to be realistic or make immediate sense.
